Biodynamic craniosacral therapy

What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, BCST?

BCST is a gentle non-invasive hands-on therapy that addresses the body as a whole. This unique modality creates a space where the body can recognize its own innate healing process within, and allows for reconnection to its healing forces. This reconnection can support the flow of cerebral spinal fluid and function of the central nervous system. This can aide in shifting the body from a “fight-or-flight” sympathetic activated state, to a “rest-and-digest” para-sympathetic calm state.

What is BCST used for?

  • Pain
  • Inability to relax
  • Insomnia
  • TMJ Dysfunction
  • Teeth grinding/clenching
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Recovery from car accident
  • Trauma resolution

What happens during a session?

During your session you will be lying on the massage table in a  comfortable position. It is important that you feel supported and are comfortable, as this ensures that your body can feel “safe enough” to relax and lessen its guarding. The session may begin at your feet, head, or hips and a very light, gentle touch is applied. Listening to the subtle rhythms of the fluids in your body and tracking areas of activation are the focus for the treatment. The session is based on the body’s expression of the order of priorities, and unfolds as such.

No two sessions are the same.
