Intuitive Therapeutic Massage

The client’s nervous system is the guide for this treatment, and a variety of modalities will be used to tailor the session to what the client’s body needs. The modalities used are: Swedish therapy which uses firm yet gentle pressure to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension, Myofascial Release to stretch and repair the connective tissue between your muscles, and Trigger Point therapy which focuses on the release of tension around specific nerve centers.

Hot Stone Massage

Heated smooth stones are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.

TMJ Massage

Slow, fascial manipulation is performed to calm the muscles of mastication (chewing) and release tension and pain. Depending on the length of the session, specific work is done inside the mouth (intra-oral), head, neck, and shoulders. Adjustments can always be made depending on what the client presents with that day.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy tunes into the nervous system and the fascial network within the body to help facilitate the release of tension caused by stored "memories" throughout the body. Stored tension can be a result of an accident, repetitive motion, emotional dysregulation, or traumatic events. By listening to the nervous system, the sympathetic nervous system and the muscles associated with "fight or flight" response can release and create a more calm and relaxed state.

TMJ and Craniosacral

This session begins with TMJ specific therapy where slow fascial manipulation is performed inside the mouth, the head, and neck to calm the muscles of mastication (chewing), and release pain and tension. The session then finishes with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, which tunes into the nervous system and fascial network to help calm the sympathetic nervous system and the muscles associated with the "fight or flight" response.
